The Rowers' Festival is one of Petit-Rocher's main recreational and cultural event
and takes place on the last weekend of June. The main attraction is the crossing of the
Bay of Chaleur (Bonaventure, Quebec - Petit-Rocher, New Brunswick) in whaleboats manned by five intrepid rowers.
The first crossing of the Bay was in 1967 and the first festival the following year.
